Earlier today on some posts here and elsewhere said that if the Virginia Governor had to resign because of the whole blackface and KKK in his yearbook fiasco AND the Lt. Governor had to resign IF the charges of inappropriate sexual behavior were validated that the Democratic attorney general _ Herring?_ took over. Then folks were saying it went to the Rethuglican Speaker by one vote cuz they didn't count 11 Dem votes guy. Then people said that a 1990's ?? Law had a provision that the Again Republican Senate Pro_tem who technically replaces the Lt Gov if he resigns or dies or whatever. Then folks said that provision only allowed him to technically convene the house as it's the Lt Govs job to do so and SOMEONE has to but he would stop that fill in once a NEW REAL Lt gov was appointed. .…
On MSNBC just now Ari Melber_ who is very good!!_had on Larry Sabato _ who is republican but reliable fact wise_ said it DEFINATELY went to the Dem AG and implied us Liberal Looney Whiney losers were Cray Cray to be concerned about the Republicans Swooping in on this news which HAS ALL been pushed by a right wing news bloggy thing.
